Ive been in the restaurant industry my entire life and having a difficult time in terms of landing and keeping a position for the last 3 years since my divorce. My skills include everything from hosting to management.
Also having grown up doing theater and music I am great on stage and am only landing free gigs. Anyway.HELP
If your only applying at restaurants, be careful about having too many short term jobs last 3 yrs., may want to no include short term jobs and see what skills you have translate to other industries. Dont include your theater on the same resume, use it during the interview but i'd take off the resume. Pull a background check on yourself. It will show the last 3 years of data, that might not be accurate. Since you have so much experience, you may be over qualified for some positions your applying,. Have a few different resumes to send out. Look luck
