Gay Men Need Help, as a Demographic. Let's Get together and Change

Hi Guys, I just joined this site. I'm intending to improve the state of the Gay (male) community which is in a terrible state of matters with trans issues wrongly being aligned with us and the gay-app culture which is making us base-level pigs. We need to improve ourselves and stop letting the contemporary world define our demographic for us.

La La Land - An Out of the Closet Review

happychico
10 Feb

Finally got around to seeing LA LA LAND this week. The film, starring Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone is about two Angelenos who initially meet in overpass traffic. Despite their initial aversion, the two keep bumping into each other and fall in love. LA LA LAND is a sweet, fairy tale filled with enjoyable musical numbers, but I didn't think the film was amazing. And I don't believe it should win the Best Picture Oscar.

It was well-made and beautifully shot.  Of course, Ryan Gosling is easy on the eyes, but the real stars of this movie are the music and the city of Los Angeles. The songs are memorable but I was bothered by the "natural" style of singing from the leads. I had hoped for more professional voices. Still, LA LA LAND should win awards for Music. And the various scene locations encapsulate a fine tour of the City of Angels. Overall, I'd give the film a 7 out of 10.

How does everyone else think this movie is going to do at the Oscars?

One of the best movies I have seen in years. I've never been a big Ryan Gosling fan but really liked him in this.
