Hey guys, just a few quick words. I am on here primarily to chat, and i don't care about age, colour or creed. So no dick pics please.
Before messaging me, you need to know I am deaf, and I rarely Skype, if ever.
Unusually, I have my commercial pilots license, and i am in the process of completing my MEL certification and fly a Twin Otter 400. I got my SEL civilian license at 16. I learned to fly before I got my drivers license.
My dad is chief pilot for the same company, and flies Twin engine Otter 400's out of Papua New Guinea.
The two pics of the Twin Otter 400 are Google pics and not mine, didn't want to reveal my privacy as our planes, like others, have the company name and logo all over them.
Yes, deaf people can fly commercially, testing is rigorous, I have a. cochlea implant, and have speech therapy. So I don't sound too retarded. :-) My speech therapist works with me on the routine sentences used between the aircraft, tower and preflight cockpit routines.
Proudly I am Copilot (First Officer) for the same company' which I won't disclose here, and a skydiving company near my home town where I skipper a single engine Cessna 182 in an effort to increase my flight hours.
I love flying, sorry if I am shoving it in your face, I don't mean to. Its such an accomplishment for me, that's all.
Because of the teasing I got at school, I am a loner, but am lucky enough to have an awesome boyfriend, that has a LOT of patience, communicating with me can be very tiring, and I'm easily frustrated.
Anyone experienced with deaf people will understand what I am talking about.
No pic? Don't expect a reply, I have pics, so it's only fair to expect the same. Also, statements like "are you a top or a bottom" usually go by unanswered.
I am a 2nd year university student studying Engineering, majoring in aerospace/aeronautics. My goal is eventually fly Twin jets, the A320 Airbus, or the Boeing 737-400 although they will probably be outdated by then.
Well, if you've read this far, you are someone I'd like to get to know.
I hope my profile is an inspiration to other gay guys, finally our sexuality doesn't stipulate what we do in life. Sadly, this wasn't always the case, and we should have a lot of respect to the "daddies" who forged a path for us younger guys to follow, often having to bear the shit that we no longer have to.
Thanks for not treating me like a sex object, by reading and learning more of a fellow gay guy.
