First, you must like dogs. I have a 4 year old Boxer that means the world to me. He will lay on you, lick you and bring you toys so you can play with him. If it ever comes down to picking him or a guy...he will win.
I really appreciate a guy that is comfortable in his own skin and is willing to share his thoughts and ideas openly. Men who allow their concern for appearing masculine to prevent them from doing things they want is a turn off. To be truly masculine (in my opinion) is to be confident, kind and follow the beat of your own drum. Smoking a cigar, wearing leather or riding a motorcycle just because you think it gives you a masculine/tough image is not something I find appealing.
Everybody lies, but I want somebody that isn't going to lie about the important things. I don't want somebody who's idea of spending time together is sitting in a bar sharing a bucket of beer every night. Having good social skills and a sense of humor are important. I have a fairly sharp tongue and quick wit so anybody who can keep up instantly grabs my attention.
I tend to like men that are average to muscular, well groomed with strong facial features. If I had to make a list of types it would include business men, athletes, nerds and young suburban dad looking fellows. Other head turners are tall guys, natural blondes, strong legs, great smiles and confidence.
Also, have a picture if you want to chat. I wish I didn't have to put this in my profile...
Also, Ben Cohen, Joe Manganiello, Anderson Cooper, Jay Taylor, Chris Steele or Ben Archer...or at least their doppelgängers. :-)
