Bragging about her milkshake put Kelis on the map, but with a new Cooking Channel show, Saucy and Sweet, and her latest album, Food, the R&B diva–turned-chef has officially loosened her belt. She’s hardly the first musician to give in to her cravings. Below, a taste of some more.

Trip-hoppers Cibo Matto release Viva! La Woman,
a bizarro album of all food- inspired songs.
Nutty!

Moby founds TeaNY,
a vegan sanctuary offering cold nectarine and cantaloupe soup.
Slurpy!

Fleetwood Mac drummer Mick Fleetwood uncorks his Private Cellar wine label.
Classy!

2004
Rapper MF Doom’s Mm.. Food
features tracks like “Hoe Cakes” and “Poo-Putt Platter.”
Not classy!

2007

Ribby!

Boppy!

premieres his dried cherry-cocoa–meyer lemon–flavored coffee, House of Good.
Syrupy!

Fatty!
