Westboro Church's New Rainbow View

The home of the anti-gay Westboro Baptist Church in Topeka, Kansas, has a new view outside their hate filled windows: a new gay rights center.

The new center opened with a rainbow makeover, and a proudly set pride flag on a 30-foot flagpole. "We are standing up to bigotry and promoting equality," said the man behind the center, Aaron Jackson of charity organization Planting Peace. The new center will be dubbed the Planting Peace Equality House.

"I've been accused in the past of being all over the place, and they're probably right on some level," the humanitarian told Gawker, as his other projects have included opening orphanages in India and Haiti, and buying a thousand acres of endangered rain forest in Peru. This year, his charity also intends to de-worm every child in Guatemala.

Jackson has been looking for a way to support equality, anti-bullying programs, and some sort of pro-LGBT initiative ever since he heard of local boy photo-bombing the anti-gay group with a sign that read "God Hates No One," he told Gawker.
