Our Newest Fascination, Well-Strung

By Andrew Villagomez

Aside from all being incredibly gorgeous, the men of the all male singing string quartet Well-Strung are talented masters of turning pop hits into instrumental wonders. They move without hassle between classical musicians such as Mozart and Vivaldi, to the pop sensations of Britney Spears, Adele, Katy Perry, and even Ke$ha, making her music come off almost classy. They also have a new show beginning tonight, February 28, which continues for a three-week run at the Marjorie S. Deane Little Theater in New York City (tickets can be purchased online).

Need proof? Check out some of their stylings below:

Well-Strung is made up of Edmund Bagnell (first violin), Christopher Marchant (second violin), Trevor Wadleigh (viola) and Daniel Shevlin (cello), who made their debut as group in New York in 2012. After a summer in Provincetown, the boys played a limited engagement in New York again in the fall. Here is a clip from a session at Time Out New York last year, where a fantastic verision of "Toxic" is performed.
