Photos

Premium members can view all photos displayed in a profile, whether public or premium. Premium members may also view private photos once a member has provided permission to view private photos. Premium members see all photos in their original size, not just thumbnails.

If you're a Free member, all photos in other member's profiles are shown in thumbnail size except the member's primary photo. Free members are not allowed to see premium or private photos even after a member has unlocked their private photos. The only way to see these photos is to be a Premium member.

Chat

Premium members may enter up to 15 chat rooms at one time. Premium members can enter a chat room even if it's already full (100+ members). Premium members also have advertisements in Chat disabled. You will still see ads when viewing full profiles, searching personals or when navigating other areas of gay.com.

Free members may enter only one chat room at a time and cannot enter rooms that are full (100+ people). Free members will need to close each chat room before selecting a new room to enter.

Mail

Premium members enjoy complete mail access, including an unlimited number of sent messages and the ability to monitor the status of a sent mail. Premium members can also save a mail message for up to 365 days.

Free members are limited to sending only five mail messages per day, can not monitor the status of a sent mail, and can only save a mail message for 14 days.

See who thinks you're hot

Premium members are alerted via email when another member adds them to their Hot List. That means Premium members know right away who has the hots for them.

Free members will be notified that someone has added them to their Hot List, but will not be able to see who that member was.

Premium members can see who has viewed their profile and how recently they viewed it. Only Premium members know exactly when someone looks their way.

Free members know that someone has viewed their profile, but they don't know who or how recently.

Block a member

Only Premium members can permanently block a member from contacting them. When a Premium member blocks someone, the blocked member can no longer initiate chats with the Premium member. In addition, all emails the blocked member sent to the Premium member are erased, including new as well as previously sent emails.

Free members can only ignore someone in Chat. Free members do not have emails automatically purged when they Ignore another member.

Premium Memberships cannot be transferred between different Member Names. If you use more than one gay.com Member Name, each Member Name must have a separate Premium Membership plan. We suggest you purchase a Premium Memberships for your favorite Member Name. Be sure to choose carefully.

gay.com Premium Membership fees are charged to your credit card when you successfully submit your order and a billing period begins. All gay.com Premium Memberships are automatically renewed and your credit card rebilled at the end of each billing period until cancelled.

For example, if you purchase the monthly plan, your gay.com Premium Membership will renew and your credit card will be billed again at the start of the next monthly period, unless you cancel. You must cancel before the close of the current billing period to avoid subsequent charges. We do not offer a "one-time" or fixed-term gay.com Premium Membership.

The billing period for a monthly gay.com Premium Membership is one (1) calendar month, the billing period for a three month gay.com Premium Membership is three (3) consecutive calendar months and the billing period for an annual gay.com Premium Membership is twelve (12) consecutive months.

Please note: All gay.com Premium Membership payments are nonrefundable.

gay.com offers promotional rates for some new Premium Memberships. However, all automatic renewals are billed at the full rate of the specific Premium Membership Plan.

If you cancel your gay.com Premium Membership before the end of your current billing period, the cancellation will take effect at the end of that billing period. You will not be billed for any subsequent term. After canceling, you will continue to have access to the Premium Membership features until the end of your current billing period.

To determine your billing period, please visit the "My Account" area and click on the "Account Info" link. You may also change or begin the cancellation of your gay.com Premium Membership in the "My Account" area.
