Never thought we'd say this, but we're so happy the Scissor Sisters are on hiatus. The extra free time has allowed gay guitarist Del Marquis to record a terrific new mixtape, Tickle, and make one of the most amazingly cheesy music videos ever.
Teaming up with out Boys Choir of Harlem alum Xavier, Del Marquis has covered Jermaine Jackson's forgotten 1982 jam "Let Me Tickle Your Fancy" and created an accompanying video embracing the '80s in all its glory of smoky not-so-special effects. Here, the tickled fancy in question belongs to an overweight man who becomes sexually awakened by the apparition of a flirtatious stripper twink dressed — and skillfully undressed — like a naughty tennis player just begging for a racket-spanking.
We dare say that the blond cutie might just be the most animated and talented go-go boys currently working the scene, and we immediately recognized him from the late Sahara Davenport's "Go Off" video. Oh, and the song's pretty catchy too.
After checking out the crazy "Let Me Tickle Your Fancy" video below, download the track and the rest of Tickle for free at Del's website.
