Set aboard a space station in a purposefully cheesy, 1970s version of the future, Space Station 76 is a new comedy starring Matt Bomer — coming off an Emmy nomination for The Normal Heart — Patrick Wilson, Liv Tyler, Jerry O’Connell, and Glee's Matthew Morrison. The film, which premiered at SXSW and recently closed Outfest is a mix between Spaceballs and Anchorman.
Space Station 76 tells the story a group of people living on a space station when a new Assistant Captain arrives and inadvertently ignites tensions among the crew. Among the many tensions, Captain Glenn's (Wilson) secret struggle with his bisexuality.
